Save the Date (1st circular) – 40th International Polar Symposium – Arctic and Antarctic at the tipping point
On behalf of the organisers – Kazimierz Wielki University in Bydgoszcz, the Museum of Polar Research in Puławy, the Committee on Polar Research of the Polish Academy of Sciences, and the Polish Polar Consortium – we extend an invitation to participate in the 40th edition of the International Polar Symposium, which will be held on 4th – 7th November 2025 in Puławy.

The event will concentrate on the most recent research and the most urgent scientific challenges related to the dynamic changes occurring in the polar regions. The objective of the conference is to facilitate a meeting platform for the scientific community which will allow for the exchange of experiences and presentation of research results in an interdisciplinary context.

We invite for the submission of special session proposals: please submit brief information to krykozio@ukw.edu.pl by 28.02.2025.

A second announcement, containing detailed organisational information and opening the possibility to submit abstracts, will be published in April 2025.
